Toronto: C.A. Bancorp Inc.’s
(“C.A. Bancorp” or the “Company”) common shares trade on the TSX
Venture Exchange under the ticker symbol “BKP”. Its common share
purchase warrants trade on the Exchange under the symbol “BKP.WT”.
Each warrant permits holders to purchase one common share of the
Company at a price of $0.35 (the exercise price) until January 26, 2007
at 4:30 p.m. (local time in Calgary, Alberta and Toronto, Ontario).
Any
warrant holder wishing to exercise its right to subscribe for common
shares must surrender to Computershare Trust Company of Canada, 530 –
8th Avenue SW Suite 600, T2P 3S8 in the City of Calgary, Alberta or
Computershare Trust Company of Canada, 100 University Avenue, M5J 2Y1,
in the City of Toronto, Ontario prior to 4:30 p.m. local time in those
cities:
1.
A warrant certificate evidencing the warrants being exercised, with the
exercise form on the reverse side thereof duly completed and executed
by the holder or a duly authorized representative of such holder, if
applicable; and
2.
A certified cheque, bank draft or money order, in lawful money of
Canada, payable to or to the order of the Computershare Trust Company
of Canada in an amount equal to $0.35 multiplied by the number of
common shares subscribed for by the holder
The
Company recommends that warrant holders who are considering exercising
their warrants determine what actions they need to take as soon as
possible to avoid missing the deadline. This will in some, but not
all, cases involve contacting the brokerage firm where the warrant
holder maintains a brokerage account holding the holder’s warrant
certificates.
The
warrants trade under normal settlement rules prior to January 23, 2007.
Thereafter the warrants will only trade on a cash basis.
The
TSX Venture Exchange will cease trading of the warrants at 12:00 noon
(Toronto time), on January 26, 2007.
